With its temperate climate and natural beauty, Madera RV Park is the place you’ll want to ‘park’ for a lifetime. Swimming pool and a grassy play area for the young and the ‘young at heart,’ as well as a dog run for the fur babies, and a clubhouse with full kitchen for everyone.
Madera was named for the Spanish word ‘lumber’ because it was laid out by the California Lumber Company in 1876. Logs from the mountains were carried 63 miles downhill and shipped elsewhere by train. The notable Madera water tower still stands, commemorating the city’s history.
